PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent authentication using biological information of others even if a storage device is replaced, or an area storing biological information is copied. SOLUTION: This information processor comprises an HDD 116 storing biological information for identifying a user; a sensor 16 for reading biological information; a nonvolatile memory 130 storing identification information for identifying the storage device; an authentication means executing authentication processing for confirming the validity of the user using the biological information read by the sensor 16 and the biological information stored in the HDD 116; a confirmation means 203 confirming the validity of the HDD 116 using identification information in the HDD and the identification information stored in the nonvolatile memory 130; and a starting means executing starting processing of an operating system after the validity of the user is authenticated by the authentication means 202 and the validity of the HDD is confirmed by the confirmation means 202.
