PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable electro-optical device in which cracking or peeling is hard to occur at the connection part between a wiring board and an electronic component mounted on the wiring board, and to provide an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: The electro-optical device 1 comprises an electro-optical panel 2 having an electro-optical material, and a wiring board 3 connected with the electro-optical panel 2. The wiring board 3 is comprising a flexible board and is provided with electronic components 34 and 35, having a connection terminal extending from the body to the outside. The electronic components 34 and 35 are arranged, in such a manner that the face opposing to the wiring board 3 contacts the wiring board 3, and the connection terminal and the outer edge of the face of the body facing the wiring board are contiguously covered with a resin member 40.
