PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture for a measuring instrument that has a simple configuration and high accuracy and allows stable measurement. SOLUTION: The fixture (guiding member) 20 for the instrument is to be detachably attached to the outer peripheral surface of a driving sheave 11 along the axial direction thereof. The fixture 20 comprises a reference material 21 having a linear guide surface 21b for guiding the movement of a caliper 30, and clamp members 22 that are arranged on both ends of the reference material 21 and are to be detachably attached to both ends of the driving sheave 11. By attaching the clamp members 22 to the driving sheave 11, the guide surface 21b of the reference material 21 adheres to the outer peripheral surface of the driving sheave 11 in parallel along the axial direction thereof.
