POROUS IRON POWDER, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND RADIO WAVE ABSORBER
摘要
<p>A porous iron powder that excels in the radio wave absorption performance in 1-20 GHz high-frequency region, being highly effective in reduction of radio disturbance in this region; and a process for producing the same. There is provided a porous iron powder composed mainly of iron which has a specific surface area as large as 4 m2/g or more and an average particle diameter of 2 to 90 µm and has a peak ascribed to a-Fe confirmed by X-ray diffractometry. This porous iron powder can be obtained by, for example, a method including immersing an alloy composed mainly of iron in an acid solution to thereby leach specified elements and reducing the remaining solid matter.</p>
