<p>A method for calculating the attenuation of the exterior digital subscriber line comprises the following steps: adds the low frequency test signal into the subscriber line, and obtains the inter-line synthetic capacity and the loop resistance by measuring; calculates the real attenuation of line with the first frequency according to the inter-lines synthetic capacity, the loop resistance and the first frequency; calculates the attenuation to be measured according to real attenuation of line with the first frequency, the first frequency and the attenuation need measuring. The present invention does not need to acquire the four simple parameters of the specified frequency point, thus avoids the difficulty of measurement. The present invention can also calculate the attenuation of the mixed lines to eliminate the disadvantages of complicated calculation and prominent error of the mixed line attenuation. Further, to obtain the attenuation of the lines, the present invention only need the loop resistance with low frequency and inter-lines synthetic capacity, therefore the design scheme of the broadband testing system are simplified and the cost are decreased.</p> |
