A method of pneumatic transportation of bulk materials includes creation of dense layer with the help of air-actuated pumps and supply of supplementary air into the material, which is transported, through the aeration channel, which is located inside the pneumatic transport pipe. The supply of bulk materials in each cycle is completed in case of presence of the remainder of bulk materials in air-actuated pump with volume of 3-5% of its capacity. The supply of supplementary air into the material, which is transported, is achieved at the angle to the direction of the transportation of bulk materials. The supply of supplementary air into the internal pipe does not stop after cut off of the air supply into air-actuated pipe. A device for pneumatic transportation of bulk materials includes an air-actuated pump with aeration element, an aeration channel in the form of internal perforated pipe for supply of supplementary air, which is located inside the pneumatic transportation pipe. Openings in the internal pipe are made on all sections of pneumatic line with a step S= (2-3) DB, diameter do of openings in internal pipe is taken as equal to do=(0.01-0.0125) DB, inside diameter DB of internal pipe is taken as equal to do=(0.25-0.3) DB, where DB - inside diameter of pneumatic transportation pipe.
