The proposed device for protecting power consumers against overvoltages in mains contains two voltage stabilizers, two switching units, two voltage comparators, a contactor with a checking contact, a rectifier, and a secondary power-supply unit. The output of the rectifier is connected to the first input of the first switching unit. The output of the of the second switching unit is connected to the first input of the second voltage stabilizer. The second input of the second voltage stabilizer is connected to the checking contact of the contactor. The coil of the contactor is connected to the output of the second switching unit. The second inputs of the switching units are accordingly connected to the outputs of the voltage comparators.
