<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security for article management. <P>SOLUTION: An article management system comprises a reader 101 for detecting the movement of a wireless tag Tb for the article, handled in association with the article 302 to be managed; a camera device 102 for imaging a certain direction to collect security information for a manager; a buzzer 104 for informing the security information to the manager by voice; and a management server 103 for operating the camera device 102 and the buzzer 104, based on the detected result of the reader 101. When the reader 101 detects that the wireless tag Tt for a target person associated with the person 303 to be managed is located inside a communication zone and detects the wireless tag Tt for the target person, corresponding to the person 303 to be managed, the management server 103 inhibits the operation of the camera device 102 and the buzzer 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
