摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely estimate a magnet temperature of a permanent magnet while excessive increase of an operation load is suppressed and to appropriately control output of a permanent magnet-type rotary electric machine based on the estimated magnet temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A magnet temperature estimating part 38 selects map data corresponding to terminal voltage VB of a battery 13, which is outputted from a voltage detector 43, from map data at every power voltage stored in a reference field magnetic current map 39 during conduction to stator winding. Map data corresponding to motor torque TRQ detected by a torque sensor (not illustrated), the number of motor rotations NM, which is output from an angle operation part 37, and q-axis current Iq_s output from a 3 phase-dq conversion part 36 is selected from map data at every reference magnet temperature Tm included in selected map data.
