<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the improvement of throughput by more efficiently preventing deterioration in error rate characteristic than in a conventional way in a radio communication system employing an adaptive modulation system. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication system performs communication while necessarily changing a modulation system to be used for communication between a base station and a radio communication terminal. In the system, any one of the base station and the radio communication terminal employs a means provided with a circuit quality detecting means for detecting a first parameter concerning circuit quality and detecting a variation amount of the first parameter, a reception system detecting means for detecting a reception system and a modulation system determining means for determining the modulation system in response to the variation quantity of the first parameter and the reception system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
