<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find an active ingredient having excellent neutral fat-accumulation promoting action and provide the active ingredient as an adiponectin production promoter. <P>SOLUTION: The adiponectin production promoter comprises one or more kinds of extracts selected from Lentinus edodes, Pleurotus cornucopiae, Cantharellus tubaeformis and Ganoderma lucidum.
