<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of efficiently supplying electric power, in accordance with the kind of an external device connected externally and the execution processing analysis of the electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic device is provided with an interface means capable of transmitting/receiving information and supplying electric power relative to the external device connected externally, a connection detecting means for detecting that the external device is connected to or removed from the interface means, a kind information acquisition means for acquiring the kind information regarding the kind of the external device from the external device connected to the interface means, a process analyzing means for analyzing the process executed by the electronic device, and an electric power supplying means for selecting one of the external devices to be supplied with electric power and supplying electric power thereto based on the analyzed results by the process analyzing means and the kind information acquired by the kind information acquisition means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
