<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake device capable of reducing the pressure on a vehicle body side mounting part and reducing the loss of transmission stroke of a relay rod. <P>SOLUTION: This parking brake device 1 brakes and operates through a brake cable by swinging and operating an operation lever 4, which is provided with a pivotal shaft 22, a swinging basic part 30 connected with the brake cable, an arc-like intermediate member 50 extending upward and backward from the swinging basic part 30, and a grip 60 for operating engagement and disengagement with/from a ratchet plate 3. The swinging basic part 30 supports a pole 40 pivotally, and the intermediate member 50 has the relay rod 51 divided and transmitting engagement and disengagement operation with/from the ratchet plate 3 to the pole 40 in the interlocking relationship with operation in the grip 60 in its inside. The ratchet plate 3 and the swinging basic part 30 are arranged on an inner side of the vehicle body side mounting part 100, and the intermediate member 50 is arranged so as to come in and out of an insertion hole 101 in the vehicle body side mounting part 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
