PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damper hardly allowing foreign matter to enter between an elastic membrane member and a cover member covering the elastic membrane member in the liquid-sealed vibration damper having the elastic membrane member absorbing the volumetric change of a liquid chamber. SOLUTION: A plurality of projections are formed on the upper surface outer peripheral part of a diaphragm 32. With the cover member 36 installed to cover the upper side of the diaphragm 32, the projections abut on the cover member 36 and clearances are formed at areas where the projections are absent. The clearances form communication passages 39 for communicating a space part 38 formed between the diaphragm 32 and the cover member 36 near the axis of the vibration damper 1 to the outside. A swelled part swelling to the radial outer side is formed at the outer peripheral end of the diaphragm 32, and the hook parts 36a, 36a, ... formed at the outer peripheral end of the cover member 36 are engaged with the swelled part.
