PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-mold foam molding apparatus capable of obtaining well balanced in the thickness of a resin foam layer as a whole by magnifying a molding space in a desired direction even with respect to a part incapable of obtaining a molding space sufficient to foam a foamable resin, and an in-mold foam molding method. SOLUTION: The in-mold foam molding apparatus 1 comprises at least a movable mold 11, a fixed mold 12 and an injection means for injecting the foamable resin 22a in the molding space formed when both molds are closed and further comprises a mold moving means 40 for causing second movement d2 different from the movement d1 in a mold opening direction in either one of the movable mold 11 and the fixed mold 12.
