PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion rolling guide unit capable of reducing costs by not forming a groove and an undercut, not forming a groove on a mounting hole, not deepening a counter bore, and not increasing machining processes. SOLUTION: A leg portion 6 of an engagement component 3 is inserted between a mounting counter bore 2 of a guide rail 1 and a head portion of a mounting bolt 10, and a piece-shaped locking portion 7 is locked in a recessed portion 11 of the head portion of the mounting bolt 10, thus the engagement compartment 3 is fixed to a guide rail 1 side. Folded parts of both sides of a cover band 4 are engaged with folded parts of both sides of a plate-shaped part 5 of the engagement component 3, thus the cover band 4 is fixed to the guide rail 1 through the engagement component 3.
