PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical recording medium capable of suppressing the degradation of an organic dye film due to ultraviolet irradiation without substantially changing conventional equipment. SOLUTION: After sticking a data substrate 1 and a dummy substrate 8 through an ultraviolet curing resin as an intermediate layer, and by radiating an ultraviolet ray 32 from the side of the data substrate 1 as a first substrate as indicated in Fig. 5(a), the ultraviolet curing resin as the intermediate layer 4 is cured.
