PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device and method of a moving part capable of easily operating the moving part of equipment or a device. SOLUTION: This operation device 1 of the moving part is so constituted as to have: a storage means 14 storing a plurality of pieces of moving destination information for the moving part in equipment having the moving part; an operation means 11 inputting moving command information for moving the moving part; an imaging means 12 photographing the moving part and acquiring image data; and a control means 134 which has a moving destination information specification section 131 determining specific destination information out of the plurality of pieces of moving destination information based on the moving command information, a moving destination determination section 132 determining the moving destination of the moving part based on the moving destination information, a moving command section 133 moving the moving part to the moving destination, and a moving end determination section 134 determining whether the moving part moves the moving destination or not based on the moving destination information and the image data.
