PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus and method, and a program for much more quickly selecting a desired image. SOLUTION: When a shuttle 37 is operated, it is turned with a prescribed shaft as a center according to the operation. A control part 60 detects an angle at which the shuttle 37 is turned. When the shutter 37 is turned, the control part 60 changes a time until an image is selected according to the angle of turning, and selects an image which is the next to the selected image or the previous image from among sequenced images.
