PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent outflow of smoke or the like even if the upper/lower size is miniaturized, and to reconcile designability with space saving. SOLUTION: In this range hood 14, a guide surface 16d is tilted at a smaller tilt angle than the execution example 1. Each recessed part 16f as a guide mechanism for smoke or the like hollowed to the depth side of the range hood 14 is provided respectively on both ends in the frontage direction from the guide surface 16d to the lower part of an arc-shaped surface 16e. The recessed part 16f is formed by, for example, chamfering, and the depth in the inside direction is gradually changed, so that the periphery of the boundary between the guide surface 16d and the arc-shaped surface 16e is deepest, and that the depth becomes shallower continuously toward the vertical direction.
