The noncrystalline nickel(II) and zinc aquaaminoortho- pyrophosphate relates to the double salt according to the cation composition and mixtured salt in accordance with anion composition of general formula NixZn5-x(PO4)1.3?2.0.(P2O7)1.0?1.5.nNH3.mH2O, where n=5.9?6.6, m=7.2?8.7, in which the given ratio between orthophosphate and pyrophosphate anions is provided by the use of mechanical mixture Ni2P2O7.6H2O and Zn3(PO4)2.4.0H2O, taken as the NiO:ZnO between 3.0:2.0 and 2.0:3.0 of concentrated aqueous solution of ammonia and dimethyl ketone.
