METHOD FOR MONITORING EFFICACY OF RADIOCHEMOTHERAPY OF LUNG CANCER

The method for the monitoring of the efficacy of radiochemotherapy of lung cancer comprises the radiotherapy in the conventional fractional mode applied to the primary focus and the areas of the regional metastasizing and the correction of the irradiation mode depending on the oncomarker blood content. The enolase and ceramides are assayed as oncomarkers. Ceramide content is assayed prior to and in the course of the treatment. The ratio enolase/ceramides is calculated. The irradiation schedule is then corrected according to the value of the ratio obtained.
