<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the reduction of a draining sound by preventing the vibration of an upper joint from being transmitted to a concrete slab through a lower joint. <P>SOLUTION: A lower flange 26 formed at the peripheral edge of the lower end of a barrel 21 of the upper joint 20 and an upper flange 36 formed at the peripheral edge of the upper end of a barrel 31 of the lower joint 30 are coupled with a plurality of bolts 51 through a packing 57 in a drain pipe joint. The barrel 21 of the lower joint 30 is passed through a through hole of the concrete slab which partitions a multiple dwelling house into an upper story and a lower story.
