<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device, achieving lower cost and less labor without wastefully consuming sheets, by detecting the skewing of the sheets during sheet reversing processing to prevent the occurrence of troubles of the sheets in carrying the sheets. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet processing device comprises a straight sheet feeding path 962 as a carrying passage for special sheets (cover sheets or slip sheets) to be carried from a tray 901 of an inserter, and skewing sensors 930, 931 arranged on the downstream side of a position in combination with a reverse sheet feeding path 961. Thus, in carrying the special sheets even when using only the straight sheet feeding path 962 right after feeding or using only the reverse sheet feeding path 961 during sheet reversing processing, the set of skewing sensors 930, 931 on a combination path of these paths detect the skewing of the special sheets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
