<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gear for an internal combustion engine capable of inhibiting incorrect motion of a valve even if lift of the valve is large. <P>SOLUTION: The valve gear for the internal combustion engine lifting the valve 3 by oscillating motion of a oscillating cam 1, is provided with a lift inhibiting cam 5 oscillating in synchronization with the oscillating cam 1, and a cam follower 6 including a bent part 6a arranged bending along an oscillating direction of the lift inhibiting cam 5 and moving up and down with a valve 3, and the lift inhibiting cam 5 slides on an inner surface 6b of a receiving member 6. Also, if a variable valve gear 20 is provided, the lift inhibiting cam 5 slides on the cam follower 6 when the maximum lift quantity of the valve set by the variable valve gear 20 is a predetermined lift quantity or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
