<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing program capable of correcting a low image quality part such as a backlight image part of image information, reducing noises of the image after the correction, and suppressing deterioration in the resolution. <P>SOLUTION: Whether or not an image part is a backlight image part is judged by a difference between original image data and a Retinex image data generated by a correction region judgement processing. Application of denoise processing to the rear light image part eliminates (reduces) the noise (refer to a middle image in Fig. 2(a)). Execution of Retinex processing applied to the image data subjected to the denoise processing can enhance the lightness and the contrast of the rear light image part. Further, since the Retinex processing is executed after the denoise processing, the noise amplification can be suppressed even by the execution of the Retinex processing, and a sharp output image with small noise and excellent contrast and lightness can be formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
