<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator manufacturing apparatus for surely bonding separators together, and a method for manufacturing the separator. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a pair of electrodes 22a and 22b holding a pair of separators 12a and 12b from the both side of stacking directions in a contact condition through a plurality of bonding sections 35, and a power feed controller for feeding power to the electrodes 22a and 22b. The electrodes 22a and 22b have a plurality of electrically independent conductive regions 26a and 26b. The pair of separators 12a and 12b are welded at the bonding section 35 by feeding power controlled independent to each conductive regions 26a and 26b on the condition that each conductive regions 26a and 26b are contacted to different regions of the separators 12a and 12b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
