<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can copy an original of non-standard size without image missing. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a control means which recognizes a standard size original which is larger by one based on a main scanning width of an original which is set, selects a standard size paper corresponding to the recognized original, and carries out control for image forming.
