PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus which is equipped with two or more communication modules that conduct communications through a profile based on Bluetooth (R) protocol stack, and capable of selecting the suitable communication module through simple processing. SOLUTION: PCs 10 and 20 make Bluetooth communication and UWB communication through a Bluetooth protocol stack. When the PC 10 receives a request for the start of communication service by a certain profile from the PC 20 through a Bluetooth communication unit 12 or a UWB communication unit 13, the PC 10 transmits a message that it is recommended to replace the communication module to the PC 20 referring to a profile allocation information 14a, when a communication module other than the communication module that receives the request is allocated to the profile.
