PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust easily the capacity of the whole of an electronic component, while suppressing the increase of the manufacturing cost of the electronic component. SOLUTION: For example, one or more slits 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b, 2c are provided in inner electrodes 1, 2 of such an electronic component as a laminated ceramic capacitor. More particularly, when increasing the capacity of the whole of the electronic component, the width of each of the slits 1a, 1b, 1c or the slits 2a, 2b, 2c is made smaller than the nearly double value of the thickness d1 or the thickness d2 of the inner electrode 1 or the inner electrode 2. When decreasing the capacity of the whole of the electronic component, the width of each of the slits 1a, 1b, 1c or the slits 2a, 2b, 2c is made larger than the nearly double value of the thickness d1 or the thickness d2 of the inner electrode 1 or the inner electrode 2.
