PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter which can set up a limiting current value of over voltage. SOLUTION: The DC-DC converter is provided with a current detection resistor 20 inserted between output of a voltage conversion part 13 and an output terminal 4, a comparator 21 where voltage of a voltage conversion part 13-side of the current detection resistor 20 is supplied to one input, voltage of an output terminal 4-side of the current detection resistor 20 is supplied to the other input and the output is connected to input of a control part 17, a series connection body of a resistor 6 and a resistor 7, which are connected to the current detection resistor 20, and an excess current setting terminal 22 connected to a connection point 26 of a resistor 23 and a resistor 24. An excess current setting resistor 37 is connected to the excess current setting terminal 22 so that it becomes parallel to the resistor 6 or the resistor 7. When voltage inputted to one input of the comparator 21 is higher than voltage inputted to the other input, the control part 17 controls on/off time of a switching element.
