PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device capable of responding to substantially all models of vehicles through a common structure, and reducing the load of arithmetic processing more than in screen display of a guide line image. SOLUTION: A mask image includes a band image 30, a substantially semi-elliptic frame-like frame image 15 connected to both ends of the band image 30, and pole images 16a and 16b extending upward from predetermined points on the frame image 15. Even if steering angle is changed, the mask image is not changed. An advancing directional mark 17 indicating a predicted advancing direction of a vehicle and right-angled directional marks 18a and 18b indicating directions laterally shifted by 90°to the predicted advancing direction are displayed on the frame image 15.
