PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a state control method for making it necessary for a developer only to define only a state transition table, and for making common a structure at a status control side, and for making it available as a framework. SOLUTION: In this state control method for controlling a state based on a state transition table where the combination of an event and the state and an action corresponding to it are described, a state control engine executes an action by retrieving an action class on which action functions with the same destinations corresponding to an execution object action class name described in the state transaction table are mounted, and loading it on a memory, and executing the action functions so that it is possible for the state control engine to integrally execute the action functions regardless of the type of the action class. Also, the action class loaded on the memory is stored in an action class storage means, and when the execution object action class has been already stored, the action class is not newly loaded, and the action functions corresponding to the stored action class are executed.
