PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal foil stacked body for etching which is more suitable for industrial production, and to provide etched metal foil. SOLUTION: In the metal foil stacked body for etching, a resist layer by a resist liquid containing a polyester based resin and a hot-curing agent is formed on a part or the whole of metal foil.
