PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gargle stable even under long-term preservation conditions. SOLUTION: The gargle comprises an iodine dissolution assistant in an amount of 5-30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of an iodine-cyclodextrin clathrate and a solvent is a 2-6C polyhydric alcohol. The gargle is obtained by dissolving the iodine dissolution assistant, iodine and cyclodextrin in a 2-6C polyhydric alcohol solution. Both can simply be prepared and the resultant gargles and disinfectant have excellent preservation stability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
