The guide attachment (1) centers and guides a thread-cutting drill (2). it has a guide channel (4) for the tool and a fixing element (5) coming out at the lower end of the guide channel. There are two resting surfaces on the underside of the fixing element running at a set angle, by which the fixing element can be mounted on the workpiece (3).
