An information display system for a driven object for displaying an image not disturbed even if a power instantaneous stop occurs. The information display system comprises a DPF controller (21) for acquiring state information (D<SUB>1</SUB> to D<SUB>4</SUB>) from the ECU of each part of an automobile in a predetermined cycle, a drawing controller (22) for creating an element image showing the state of each part of the automobile according to the state information (D<SUB>1</SUB> to D<SUB>4</SUB>), combining the created element images, and creating a composite image of an instrument panel for an automobile, and a nonvolatile memory (24) for storing at least the latest information which is the state information (D<SUB>1</SUB> to D<SUB>4</SUB>) or intermediate information created from the state information. The drawing controller (22) creates an information image by using the information read out of the nonvolatile memory (24) if any item of the state information (D<SUB>1</SUB> to D<SUB>4</SUB>) cannot be acquired and allows a liquid crystal display (11) to display the information image.
