A method and system for producing a potential over a body by using streams of pressurised fluid from nozzles, holes or slits over one or more surfaces of the body, which pressurised fluid is discharged as streams from nozzles, holes or slits over oneore more surfaces of the body from its leading edge, establishing a pressure potential over the body between the leading and the trailing edge. The angle between the nozzles, holes or slits and the curved surface(s) at the leading edge is adjusted so that the streams from the nozzles, holes or slits run towards the surface(s) at different angles to propel, steer and manoeuvre the body.
