<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a sectioning member that can shorten the time needed to form the sectioning member such as a seal material and a black mask on a substrate and can easily form the sectioning member such as the seal material and black mask having a highly fine pattern at low cost; and also to provide the substrate, a liquid crystal display device and a method of manufacturing the same, and electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The method forms the seal material 108 as the sectioning member for sectioning a specified area on the substrate. The method of forming the sectioning member is characterized in that: one of a head jetting a material constituting the seal material 108 onto an area (seal material formation area) E, where the seal material 108 set in a substrate formation area 13 in a mother substrate 12 is formed, and the mother substrate 12 is scanned relatively to the other; and the material of the seal material 108 jetted from the head is landed in the seal material formation area E on the mother substrate 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
