<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which can be utilized for a protection film for a polarizing plate, a phase difference film, a visual field angle enlarging film or the like used in a liquid crystal display (LCD) or the like, which is manufactured by a molten flow stretching method using no solvent in producing a film and which has little size change even under various conditions suitable for the phase difference film and has no occurrence of density unevenness called frame trouble, and further to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film is constituted by laminating at least two resin layers containing a cellulose ester resin and at least one resin layer contains inorganic micro-particles (a matting agent) of ≤1 wt.% water content. Two or more resin layers are extruded together from a flow stretching die and are solidified by cooling to form a laminated web and the laminated web is stretched and wound up. At least one resin layer among two or more resin layers containing the cellulose ester resin contains inorganic micro-particles of ≤1 wt.% water content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
