<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake device capable of transmitting operation force required for braking the brake securely and preventing a brake cable from being broken. <P>SOLUTION: This parking brake device 1 brakes and operates through the brake cable 110 by swinging an operation lever 4, which is provided with a drum part 300 for winding the pulled-out brake cable 110 when pulling out the brake cable 110 by the swing for braking. The drum part 300 is composed of a guide holding part 301 formed in the operation lever 4 and a bush wire guide 80 assembled integrally in the guide holding part 301 and forming a guide channel 81 for winding the brake cable 110 around it.
