PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving apparatus capable of recognizing whether or not a desired program is a program after extension in a broadcast schedule displayed on the basis of electric program information even when an extensible program and the desired program are in different time zones to be broadcast, and both of the programs are not displayed on one screen. SOLUTION: The receiving apparatus determines the presence or absence of the extensible program whose broadcast time might be extended on the basis of the received electronic program information, and changes a display method of the broadcast schedule relating to programs after extension to be broadcast in the same channel as the extensible program following the extensible program when determining the presence of the extensible program.
