PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system having bookbinding equipment which executes a reliable and firm cover gluing-on bookbinding processing, improves the quality of finished bookbinding and has a high productivity.

SOLUTION: In the bookbinding equipment which sticks a cover K to the back of a paper bundle Sa and subjects it to the gluing-on bookbinding processing, a notch forming means 90 to form a notch portion V in the end side of paper S to be coated with glue N on the occasion of the bookbinding processing is provided on a paper conveyance path of the equipment.
