PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect two shafts 2, 3 to each other in the state of absorbing axial displacement and in the state of having no axial play while being simply and inexpensively composed in a joint 1 with the two shafts 2, 3 arranged axially parallel to each other connected integrally to each other. SOLUTION: This joint comprises a locking part 4b formed at the end of the first shaft 2 and a bag-like engagement part 5b formed at the end of the second shaft 3 and having an inner space into which the locking part 4b is locked. An opening 5e of such a size that can receive the locking part 4b is formed in the bag-like engagement part 5b. The locking part 4b is abutted on the inner surfaces of the wall parts 5c, 5d of the bag-like engagement part 5b at the front and rear sides in the axial direction without leaving a clearance in the axial direction by its movement in the state of being put into the bag-like engagement part 5b through the opening 5e.
