PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater detection system capable of indicating detected information added with velocity information of an echo reflector on a display screen. SOLUTION: The underwater detection system transmitting ultrasonic wave underwater, receiving reflection echo from an object and indicating is provided with a filter processing section for filtering reception signal by using a band-pass filter having a stopband at a part of the passing band frequency. The stopband is made a frequency band of signal reflected by a target with zero moving velocity. By this, reflection echo from sea bottom and a plankton layer is removed and only reflection echo from a school of fish moving with a velocity can be indicated on the display screen.
