PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label pasting apparatus capable of smoothly operating a servo motor without generating error of the servo motor even if a high-speed pasting is performed by a high processing (short pasting time) when a transfer roller is rotated and driven by using the servo motor. SOLUTION: The servo motor 30 intermittently rotating and driving the transfer roller 18 for transferring a belt-like mount 3 turned back at the tip part of a releasing plate 13, is rotated and driven in a direction to which a label 4 is delivered from the releasing plate 13, and then, it is rotated and driven in the reverse direction and stopped to restore the releasing plate 13 curved by rotating and driving the servo motor 30 in the direction to which the label 4 is delivered from the releasing plate 13, to suppress a torque at the time of stopping of the servo motor 30, and thereby to suppress the whole sticking operation.
