PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal injection molding machine capable of preventing defective moldings from occurring even in the abnormal pressure boosting. SOLUTION: In the metal injection molding machine 100, molten metal or semi-solid slurry HS is weighed with a weighing part 23 and introduced into a plunger part 30 through a communicating flow-passage 25 and injected into a metallic mold 60. A screw 22 performs advancing/retreating movement by working a hydraulic device 27 for screw to perform the opening and the closing of the communicating flow-passage 25. Especially, in the case of developing the abnormal injection pressure, the opening of the communicating flow-passage 25 is performed, and in the case of being the pressure in a prescribed range, the closing of the communicating flow-passage 25 is performed.
