The apparatus has a stabilizing device for laterally stabilizing a lifter (150) against a transport frame (120). The stabilizing device has a swiveling arm (140) with a lower end area, which is swivelably connected with the lifter, and an upper area, which is swivelably connected with the transport frame. The swiveling arm has a joint (143) to prohibit a lateral offset of the lifter opposite to the transport frame during lifting or lowering into a swiveling level in such a manner that the lifter is vertically moved during lifting or lowering.
