<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device constituted so that image data showing a high-quality image may be acquired or the image may be projected by surely removing minute dust or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The optical device for an imaging unit or a projection type image display apparatus or the like is equipped with: an image forming body including an image forming element or an imaging element 27; a dust-proof member 21 arranged to be opposed to the image forming body at a predetermined interval and having a transmission part capable of transmitting luminous flux for an image; first excitation means 18 and 49 giving vibration in a first direction to the dust-proof member; and second excitation means 22 and 48 giving vibration in a second direction nearly orthogonal to the first direction to the dust-proof member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
