PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive camera system highly resistant to load changes by transmitting power from a camera to a lens by magnetic coupling and performing power control from the lens to the camera by light. SOLUTION: The camera on which an interchangeable lens can be mounted includes a power transmission means for transmitting power by magnetic coupling and a control means for controlling the power transmission means by input due to optical coupling.
